While Neelam Gill and Barbara Palvin brought the glamour to the Poor Things premiere at Venice Film Festival on Friday, it was missing the Hollywood sparkle of Emma Stone. 

The actress, 34, joined the increasingly long list of no-shows at the annual festival as A-listers opt to stay away for fear of breaching the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Despite Emma's absence, director Yorgos Lanthimos' new film received applause and was hailed 'best of the year' by critics who attended the screening. 

On the red carpet, Neelam, 28, showed off her model figure in a strapless black patterned dress which had a plunging neckline. 

The fashionista amped up the glamour with a diamond necklace and statement earrings.
