The 20-year-old actress who portrays goth icon Wednesday on Netflix wore a custom Thom Browne outfit that featured a black lace-up corset and matching schoolgirl bow-tie.

This year's theme for the annual fundraiser held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art was 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty' and Jenna's outfit paid homage to the late designer with its black-and-white look and heavy jewelry that were typically featured in his designs.

While the show may be known for its glitzy and over-the-top red carpet - with details of what occurs inside often remaining mysterious - at its heart, it is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.

Last year, the 2022 MET Gala alone raised a grand total of $17.4 million, reported Billboard.
