Jessica Alba was ever the stylish mom as she stepped out for a lunch date with her four-year-old son Hayes on Saturday.

Jessica carried a small tan leather crossbody bag and shielded her eyes with oversized white-framed cat-eye sunglasses.

The 40-year-old actress donned a breezy cream and beige striped top as she strolled hand in hand with Hayes on a sunny day in Los Angeles.

He had on a blue and yellow baseball cap along with white Velcro-strapped sneakers and blue socks.

'The hardest part about being a parent is allowing your kids to make a mistake and knowing when it is going to be too hard or too much,' she said.
