Scarlett Johansson co-founded the skincare brand called The Outset. And the movie star, 37, chatted about the skin issues she dealt with in her twenties.

'I still look back at photos of me on the red carpet in my twenties, and I'm like, "I remember that pimple,"' the mom of two said in an interview with People. Scarlett revealed that when she would get stressed out while filming a movie because of her acne outbreaks.

'It was terrible. I would cover my acne before I even got to the makeup chair just so that I didn't feel so exposed. It really does affect how you feel about yourself and you just want to scrub it away.'

Adding that at the time, the star tried 'every kind of acne peel and mask and resurfacing polish' before she realized that those particular products were too harsh for her skin.

Scarlett co-founded the brand The Outset with Kate Foster, launching it in March of this year.

The brand is vegan and cruelty-free with six products, the latest ones being their Exfoliating Caffeine Micro Polish.
