Scarlett Johansson has recently shared her confusion as to why people consider her to be sexy. This statement gives the impression that she may not have taken a good look at herself in the mirror for quite some time, or perhaps she has never watched any of her own movies.

In a recent interview with Empire magazine, the actress discussed her physical appearance, which is already evident by the fact that she was once married to Ryan Reynolds.

Scarlett knows precisely how to irritate us. When inquired about her self-perception, she responded with uncertainty, stating, “I am unsure; I do not view myself in that manner. It’s okay for now. I am convinced that in a few years, someone else will take my place. I won’t be as fascinating in that regard.”

If Scarlett is referring to being “not as attractive” in a couple of years when she’s 50, then it’s understandable. However, at the age of 27, she still has a long time to be considered very attractive. Scarlett admits that she doesn’t even know where her sexiness comes from, which is quite amusing.

Hey, you know what? Scarlett recently shared that she hasn’t actually portrayed too many sexually-charged characters in her career. She did mention that some may argue her roles in “Match Point” or “Black Dahlia” were also sexy, but she doesn’t think any of her characters fit the traditional sexy stereotype.

“I believe that the criticism I receive about my appearance may be due to my confident and curvy figure. However, I don’t think I portrayed myself as overly sexy in ‘Lost in Translation’ or ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’. It’s okay if people perceive me as sexy, and I will continue to embrace my body and move on.”
