As co-chair of this year's Met Gala, Dua Lipa arrived early and ready to show exactly how the night's theme should be done.

The Met Gala isn't Lipa's only big project this first half of the year. 

The singer surprised the internet last month when she revealed she had secretly been part of the highly-anticipated movie Barbie's cast. 

Lipa will be playing a mermaid Barbie.

The singer wore vintage Chanel white ball gown dress to honor the museum's new exhibit Karl Lagerfeld.
