about a family who mysteriously wakes up to a full body swap – while the mother wakes up in the body of her teenage daughter (and vice versa).

The uniting factor between Emma Myers’ new Netflix movie and her Wednesday co-star Jenna Ortega is the role that Jennifer Garner plays in regard to both actresses.

The actress will now be doing the reverse in Family Switch as the adult character awakens in the body of her teen daughter, though she will stay in the present timeline instead of being sent back to the 1980s.

Jennifer Garner’s 2021 Netflix movie Yes Day isn’t her only previous project with a connection to Family Switch, as the upcoming film also teases links to her hit 2004 comedy 13 Going on 30.
